AQSI offers our customers with cost-effective and profession environmental consulting services. Here are some of the key services we can assist you with.
The New Source Performance Standards (NSPS)/ Emission Guideline Standards (EG) for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Landfills was promulgated on March 11, 1996. Since that time AQSI has assessed the applicability of the NSPS/EG for several MSW landfills. AQSI creates compliance plans and schedules, completes Tier I reports, evaluates existing compliance protocols, performs surface monitoring and submits annual reports for our clients.
AQSI has successfully obtained air permits in several states for a variety of projects over a wide range of complexity and size. These permits include - but are not limited to - air pollution emission calculations, regulatory discussions, Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT)/ Best Available Control Technology (BACT)/ Lowest Achievable Emission Rate (LAER) analysis, and air pollution dispersion modeling (where applicable). AQSI also prepares Title V (Renewable Operating Permits) for major sources in the Midwest.
AQSI calculates emissions for sources and facilities and completes all necessary reporting to comply with the CAAA. The CAAA (Clean Air Act Amendment) requires those major sources and facilities which are subject to Federal Standards (NSPS, NESHAP, etc.) to submit annual emission reports.
AQSI will prepare a comprehensive evaluation outlining each client’s compliance with all Federal, State, and Local air regulations. Once this evaluation is completed, AQSI will review any compliance issues with the client, develop an action plan and work to correct any discrepancies with the compliance program.
